Although many Republicons now see Santorum as their potential conservative saviour..

There is hardly a mention of him on the front pages of RW sites like Politico, Drudge, etc. Clearly the mainstream GOPers still want Romney. I think we are going to see a coordinated effort to discredit Santorum which will probably work. Santorum's biggest problem is that he's too narrow, too conservative and too amateurish. He's like a boy scout.. well maybe eagle scout. but regardless the guy is not presidential at all. I think his days on top are numbered.

because you can't be sure of anything in politics, so if Santorum gets the nomination, he just might win in Nov, and that would be truly horrific.

This guy would probably ban abortions, make it illegal to be gay, and restart the crusades all in the first 100 days.

The man is CREEPY. I guess that is why I left the church, and men like Santorum. I think I would rather be a Nun than marrried (have a Pesident) to somebody like Santorum. Ewwwwwww. I am not talking about his LOOKS either.

Evangelicals and Fundamentalists love him. Teabaggers won't have any problem with him. If he starts claiming that Obama is not a citizen he will jump up in the polls further. He is the ideal crazy right winger- Palin, Bachmann, Perry, the crazy women from Delaware and Nevada, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell and the rest all rolled into one.

The professional Republicans know that. Most Americans are neither devout Catholics nor fundamentalist Christians. Those two groups added together are a minority. And no one outside those two groups would vote for Santorum.

I check up on stories on my breaks during the day, as so many write for it, I consider it to be the weekday companion to my Sunday talking-heads shows. Don't go to Drudge, though, it's too reich-wing for my tastes.

Yes, the establishment still wants Mittens, but they wouldn't be too disappointed by Santorum. It remains to be seen what can be done with the Southern states on Super Tuesday. There's enough time for Noot to sink to the very bottom again, this time to never get back up off the floor. If his billionaire casino owner friend cuts off the cash spigot, Noot is finished.

I figured Santorum would drift away after South Carolina (where he should have done quite well), but this hat trick gave him enough gas to get to Super Tuesday. It's quite possible that he could do as well in Ohio and Alaska, and I give him a shot in Idaho, North Dakota, and maybe Vermont. Vermonters really don't align that much with Massachusetts, they have quite an identity of their own. Now if Santorum can make some inroads on Mittens in Massachusetts, and on Gingrich in Oklahoma and Tennessee, he could look like the big winner of that day.

We'll have an indication from Arizona and Michigan if he's got legs. Up until Tuesday, I expected Romney to win those states handily, but now, I'm not so sure. If he (or Gingrich) can move into at least an Iowa-style virtual tie in those states, we'll know that Mitt's on his way to another defeat.

Most of Gingrich supporters would go to him if Gingrich fades or drops out. I dont think the vice-versa is true however. This CPAC thing could help or hurt Romney but yes the true test will be AZ and MI.. especially Michigan. If Santorum makes it close there or wins it Romney is in trouble and it could go to the convention. This thing is not over yet... but I still think Romney's odds are good to win it.

...that little ricky is their nominee.

I want to see President Obama mop the floor with him coast to coast.

Maybe it would be better to say "wipe him off"?

I've detested that little shit for nearly 20 years.

PEACE!
