MISSOURI - YouGov poll (Romney +6)

Not a bad result in this poll. Romney isn't running away with it here yet, and if Obama maintains okay numbers it can also help McCaskill.

Fri September 21,

MISSOURI (Romney +6)

YouGov

Romney - 49%

Obama - 43%

-----------

Democratic President Barack Obama trails Republican challenger Mitt Romney by six points in Missouri, 49% Romney to 43% Obama, in a poll of 809 registered voters statewide, conducted by YouGov.

So it makes sense that Romney would be doing reasonably well with Independents there - it's more conservative.

The point is that Romney should be doing better than that.
