McCaskill & Akin had their first debate today.

Ed Shultz discussed it on his show, and there is an additional 4-minute clip from TPM here in which the moderator asks Akin about the 'legitimate rape' controversy.

Rather than giving a proper answer as to why he said what he did, he went into a tirade about the GOP's positions on finance, which as you said are not exactly well-informed.
