3. he's basically correct the president can try to set an agenda and can veto bills but

it's congress that crafts legislation. but this could be useful when the gop's zany cast of presidential hopefuls blames potus for any failures of the economy we could point to grover and say" but grover says all the prez duz is sign the bills that congress sends him. crappy bills congress' fault, and who makes up the majority of the house who crafts legislation why it's the gop of course". so grover just took all the heat off potus and put it on the gop.

6. Exactly!! They have given up on the presidency. This is why I get frustrated by Democrats

sometimes. Because so many are angry at Obama, they sit out and decide not to vote, thus hurting the "down ticket" for Democrats. Republican voters DO NOT give up! No matter how much they lose, they focus their efforts on local, state and congressional races. They redirect their resources to the local levels. That's why we're getting killed in these contests.

Be angry at Obama. O.K., I get it. But don't punish lower ticket Democrats who desperately need our help!!
