At the same time, the campaign gave out about $200,000 in bonuses to senior employees just after the Republican National Convention, which ended with the candidate not getting much of a bounce in the polls.
The beneficiaries included national political director Richard Beeson, campaign manager Matt Rhoades, general counsel Kathryn Biber, policy adviser Lanhee Chen, communications director Gail Gitcho, digital director Zach Moffatt and adviser Gabriel Schoenfeld, according to federal campaign finance reports filed Thursday. The Washington Post first reported the bonuses.
According to the Post, Beeson received a $37,500 bonus on top of his monthly salary of $13,750. Rhoades, Chen and Gitcho received $25,000 each.

Except it doesn't seem to have worked with the senior campaign people. They're tanking badly in spite of their bonuses. LOL!

You can bet that Romney will end up with $50 million in his campaign account, which law allows him to keep. OK, technically speaking, he can't keep it for personal use. But he can certainly form a consulting company of which he and Ann are the sole shareholders, and the Romney legacy campaign can hire this consulting company to perform "services" that just happen to add up to the amount that is left in his campaign account.
