Time for Martin O'Malley to call it quits

He's not gaining any traction and he's relegated himself to being a distraction from the real race.

With Hill and Bernie, you're waiting to hear how they answer a question or give a rebuttal. With MOM, it's all about being polite to the person who really hasn't earned a place at the table.

Why does he hold on? Ego?

Clinton is NY and Sanders is VT. O'Malley is MD. One needs to spread out regionally when picking the VP. I would expect Midwest, South, West. Personally I would love to see Sanders/Feingold but Russ is running for senate so that isn't going to happen.

I can't see them letting him continue in the debates if he does have a significant uptick in the polls.

and he has more traction on this side of the Isle than many on the other side with their #.

Still early. Maybe he will pull off an upset in Iowa and come in ahead of Clinton. This ain't over until it's over.

But if he doesn't break the 15% threshold there, which right now it appears he won't, then he'll likely drop out immediately or just after New Hampshire.

The Democratic Party needs to display their vast array of political talent and intellect on the national stage as many times as possible.

O'Malley will likely remain in the race as long as possible incase something happens to one of the 2 front runners as they are both up in years. Here in rural Oregon there are many who will never vote for a communist(their words) so the dems need someone to be available in case Hills health declines and they do not want to lose the voter to Trump.

I want him to stay in until all the debates are over at least. He belongs on the stage just as much as anyone else even if his poll numbers are very low. IMO he should be in second place with Hillary a distant third, but that is probably not going to happen.
