Democratic President Barack Obama leads Republican challenger Mitt Romney by six percentage points in Iowa, at 48%-42%, in a poll of 766 registered voters statewide, conducted by YouGov.

In Iowa:
Partisan loyalty is strong on both sides, as 94% of Democrats are sticking with Obama and 92% of Republicans are voting for Romney.

Conversely, Romney has a strong lead in the West (61%-23%).
The oldest age group, 65+, tends to favor Romney (50%-44%), while the under 30s tend to favor Obama (50%-41%).

In which Romney is said to be ahead by 3%. The fact that Rasmussen has been erratic in other states makes my doubts stronger. In my opinion, Obama is ahead in Iowa right now.
