Earlier in the year, Obama was polling well below his 2008 CT number.

And what's also important are the coattails. The bigger Obama's number in CT, the more it can help Chris Murphy in his close race against Linda McMahon and lead to the Democrats retaining the Majority in the Senate.

I didn't post it since I don't want to post every poll in existence, but sometimes it can be worthwhile looking at the margin in Safe States as well because while they aren't in doubt, they can provide clues about the depth of support. So the fact that Obama is within a few points of his 2008 level in many states is a good sign.
