(232 posts)They have their revenge list, they only supported those who endorsed them in 2008 and stab those in the back who did not. Their DLC policies poisoned the Democratic Party of FDR and resulted in both the racial as well as financial injustice we see today.

(34,845 posts)Sorry, I find this 'man-crush' on Sanders (as well as the 'woman-crush' on Clinton) to be slightly ridiculous.

(1,309 posts)That is a big reason he cannot connect with voters. His focus on his accomplishment claims with little connections to their importance to us hurts him. I now feel he is just a distraction from the major issue posit9ions of the two viable candidates and I believe he became a non-viable candidate the moment he failed to get on the ballot in Ohio. I also believe as a past leader of men and women in difficult circumstances, I would not sacrifice their efforts on an impossible task but stand up , admit my failures, tell my paid staff and my volunteers straight out who I believe they should support and release them to do as they choose.
Right now his impossible attempts to compete are a real distraction from the real race between Hillary and Bernie. Please Martin, return to fight another day or pick a candidate to support now, but quit wasting debate time and media attention. Or just state that you are helping Hillary.

(84,711 posts)by phone...and, all she talked about was her well rehearsed list of what she felt were her achievements for women and children in her long career while throwing in that slam/lie about Bernie wanting to tear up the ACA that Dems had worked so hard for to "start all over." Bernie and his Campaign have already called her out on that as being totally false, but she continues it.

(16,375 posts)She knows that distorting the truth is most effective when repeated many times,no matter how many times she's called out on it. Most potential voters are just starting to listen, so they don't know she's lying through her teeth. I hope Bernie's team is getting him bookings like this for next week.
