Several years ago, YuiYoshida posted about female Japanese guitar players, highlighting 3 of the most popular players in Japan..

One of the clips posted by YuiYoshida that really caught my attention was the 2015 release of "Real Existence" by a relatively new, upcoming group.. Band Maid, regarded today in 2020 as one of the best hard rock bands in the world...

Kanami Tono, the young guitar player highlighted by Yui's clip is today considered one of the top guitarists and composers in Japan and beyond with major endorsements and interviews to her credit..

So thank you YuiYoshida for setting me on the path of following this incredible group of young ladies as they grew and matured into the players they are today... Much mahalo YuiYoshida..!!
