COVID-19 -- Japan vs US 4/4/20

Confirmed Cases
USA___300,915
Japan____2,935

Deaths
USA____8,162
Japan_____69

Japan reported it's first case 6 days before the US.
Japan has about 38% the population of the US but is 26 time smaller in land area and more crowded over all.

Granted you would expect more deaths in the US due to population and cultural habits but not 118 times as many.
It sure seems to me there could have been a much better handling of the pandemic in the US than was done.

If Japan were in our shoes, they'd be at 3,101 deaths right now (and surging). John Fante Apr 2020 #1

Good thing they don't have a Marx Brother running the show like we do. SMH we couldn't even get a funny Marx Brother to lead us. We got fucking Zeppo.
