Will South Dakota be on the hook $$$$ if someone sues because their kid gets injured "on the border"? Or dies? Who pays for their medical care?

What happens when the SD national guard blows up a bus full of people trying to cross?

At one point, it was illegal for people to leave things like water out in the desert so people would not die. The SD national guard gonna kill American citizens leaving drinking water behind?

The initial deployment to the border will last for between 30 and 60 days. South Dakota Adjutant General Jeff Marlette and the South Dakota Department of the Military are working with their counterparts in Texas to finalize the details of this mission.
