Mop Report from Northern NJ

Been mopping and wet vac'ing yesterday and about 40" this morning. Water coming into basement.

There were only 2 "puddles" of water to mop up this morning, which I did and it took about 40" to do that and rearrange the fans which I had left on all night. There was a little less than an inch in the mop bucket.

Yesterday I worked for a little over 2 hours and 40" mopping and my helper worked very industriously for around an hour with the wet vac. He took out numerous wet vac buckets and I took out only two. Moral of the story is use the wet vac.

Wore out one mop!

The weather around here has not been so good lately. Here is a pic of my bamboo that got completely bent over into the front area when we got snow on the 7th.

Now that the sun is out, it will go back to it's usual straight posture. I will still have at least half a day of picking up branches, sawing down broken bamboo, etc.

I'm not complaining. Far too many had it way worse than I did, with water up to their windowsills and cars nearly submerged.

well, it is NJ. And The Sopranos celebrated their 25th anniversary yesterday, wasn't it? Tony's house isn't far from me. There are lots of places where I drive by and remember them filming.
