I went looking for some bizarre Rapture paintings - which are legion, BTW. And I stumbled across this thread full of Xians describing their dreams of the Rapture. Whoa!

I had an intense Rapture Dream last night/early this morning. It wasn't very long, and all of the details are a sketchy. The only thing that was clear, was the intense feeling of being snatched up.
In the dream, I was sitting at my computer reading a post here at DTTO. LOL! I remember that someone had submitted a post that we were all considering and offering input on. It seemed like it was a possible rapture timing post? Anyway, as I was reading, it hit me, I thought to myself.. This is it! This is absolutely correct! I just know it!
No sooner than I thought that, I had the strangest physical sensation. It's hard to describe, but it was as if everything was dissolving, my body was dissolving and getting really light and moving upward at the same time. Kind of like the feeling you get in an elevator that is going down really fast, only in reverse. I was going up!
I was thinking in the dream, this is real, it's happening....now! My heart was pounding and I was moving faster and faster as I went up. I kept thinking... This is real, this is it! I kept saying to myself, yes Lord, yes Lord, yes Lord! I really couldn't see anything during this experience. It was all totally a physical sensation. I kept trying to see, but could not. It was like everything was passing by to quickly. As this sensation kept progressing, I was trying to open my eyes, or focus . I was wanting to see Jesus! Then I kept thinking.. hmm this is taking to long, I should be there with Jesus by now.... Then I woke up. But I woke up still clearly thinking "yes Lord, yes Lord"... When I finally was awake enough to open my eyes, I was like, "whew!" what a ride! :raptured:
