As a historian in training, I take this shit personally. The great men who founded this country were passionate liberals. A goodly number of them were deists, and even most of those who were not had a great respect for secular government and a separation of church and state. Freak, Madison, an Anglican, refused to issue a call for public prayer for the government because it would have violated the First Amendment. These brilliant fellows knew exactly what they were doing, and I'm quite certain if they were to roll out of their graves tomorrow, they'd start in on these people with canes and swords.

Although, I must say that it's nice to see that they have to make increasingly better trailers and make praying look exciting just to get people to respond. It used to be that they just said "come pray with us" and people did. Now... they have a trailer.
