I mean, since there weren’t two original families, somebody had to screw their sister at SOME point. I tried looking to the Bible, but they didn’t have any passages like ‘And Cain screwethed his younger sister of unknown name, and they begat Joseph, and it was good, and everyone dug it.’ Or, did Adam have a secret mistress who the Bible does not talk about? This has been on my mind for quite some time now.

ALMIGHTY GOD: Yes, of course. Everyone screwed their sister at first and knocked her up dozens of times and everyone dug it. You have to start somewhere. Later on, when there were a couple thousand humans I made it clear this was no longer ok. This explains why you humans are all such retards. You’re all inbred. Feel better now?

The review was completed at Fri May 18, 2012, 05:00 PM, and the Jury voted 2-4 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: "blasphemy" is narrow religious dogma and NOT cited in DU's rules. Anyone whose "sensibilities" are injured by such parodies should probably avoid the Internet (or any bar, or any student unnion,or any fraternity or sorority or any unit in the Armed Forces of the U.S.)
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: It's in the atheists and agnostics group. It's allowed to be blasphemous.
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: Obscenity and blasphemy are not automatic violations of community standards. Everyone does not worship the same sky wizard as you. Get over it.
Juror #4 voted to HIDE IT and said: Religious bigotry is against the TOS
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT and said: No explanation given
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: It's visuals are over the top. But anyone with an IQ over 90 has surely questioned the story about Adam and Eve and Cain. It just does not make sense. Obscene or not. Blasphemous or not. The post poses a valid question, and no one has answered it in all the thousands of years of the Judeo-Christian tradition as far as I know. If the person objecting to this post has an answer, a satisfactory answer to the question, then I will agree the post should be hidden. But as things stand, this post, in my opinion, should be left alone.

in the name of preventing "religious bigotry."

Nope, you cannot mock or criticize a religious belief without being a religious bigot, apparently. What a way to censor everyone.

Ok, maybe not in such graphic terms, but I did wonder how it all worked out with different ethic groups and that whole genetics thing.

Sunday school was not a happy time for me...also remember thinking that being "born again" was a reference to reincarnation. Of course, did not talk about that, either.

the Bible is filled with circuits that simply don't compute logically.

I think in large part that people who have a hard time with processing reality in their lives are the most ardent and literal believers in a religion like fundamentalist Christianity or Islam. The level of literal belief is more an indicator of the mind of the believer, what it is and is NOT capable of doing, and how it copes with a world of nuances, and grey areas, by turning instead to a book filled with contradictions and stories of strange people and a sky dad.

It's an interesting side note that according to one apocryphal tradition, Adam (in the guise of Adam Kadmon, the little red man) had a first wive, Lilith, who bore a bunch of demon children that are stuck between the 1st Genesis and the 2nd Genesis, to be returned to sheol after the messiah comes. So in some pretty arcane circles of thought, these un-blessed children of Adam were the stock upon which Cain preyed after the expulsion.

and told me, in all seriousness, that the non-white races of mankind were a result of Cain's bestiality with animals after he was kicked out of Eden.

It's fantastic bullshit like that that kept me on the road to Atheism!
