Got an email from catholic son in law the other day....

You know the type, direct from the Republican Ministry of Disinformation; something to the effect that "Isn't it ironic that the (US Gov. Office) is pleased to announce that it is issuing a record amount of food stamps, but that same (US Gov. Office) which is in charge of national parks instructs visitors not to feed the animals as it will make them dependant upon assistence."

I replied that as an atheist, I found it ironic that I seem to have absorbed more of Jesus' philosophy and teachings than many who claim much closer connections.

No answer has been forthcoming.

I am totally baffled at how callous and uncaring these "Christians" are when it comes to the poor and needy. I hope you hit "reply all" so that all this person's friends get your comments!
