Related: About this forumWith the new hosting system what will the process be for A&A?
Group hosts have basically been told to fend for themselves. The host forum will no longer be available to group hosts.
While understandable, as this change will reduce the ridiculous meta bullshit in the hosts forum, it does mean that discussions there about what to do here will no longer happen. Just about the only events here are the occasional banning of disruptors. What process will the hosts use here to make decisions?

(28,151 posts)We discuss things via e-mail already. Considering some of the shit flinging monkeys that post in there (host forum), always better to keep our discussions to just us.

(19,964 posts)Small enough group for email exchanges and an odd number for a clear consensus. What you already have going sounds simple and effective. As the old saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

I know we've had several people mosey into A/A with suggestions on how to make it better. Pretty sure every one of those helpful people have been banned so far, and rightly so.
Historically analogizing, they seem to keep mistaking us for Neville Chamberlain. When they're really dealing with S-T-A-L-I-N!11 (Sorry, couldn't resist. The old atheism=communism canard still makes me laugh.)
