Take heart, for there will come a day...

... when the post count in all the world's Atheist & Agnostic groups exceeds the post count in all the world's "Other Groups", and that day will be sooner than many realize.

Disclaimer: Yess..... ... I'm likely practicing some form of Atheist Esotericism here, and any one metric does not matter but suck it, I'm in a good mood...

the post count in all the world's Atheist & Agnostic groups exceeds the post count in all the world's "Other Groups", they will cease to be the Atheist & Agnostic group. They will just be "The Group".

And when the day comes that there are no more theists, there will also be no more atheists. We will cancel each other out and be called... us.

I agree with you. I will not live to see it, since my life expectancy is about 20 more years, but it will happen in a few more generations. It is already moving in that direction with many more young people turning from religion. These young people will be raising families without religious influence. They will not be afraid to declare that they are non-believers. And I have always said that the more people who open up an declare non-belief, the more people who will be willing to accept it as well as more people not hiding because of fear.

I am not in as good a mood as you are---it is Monday, fer Christ's sake. But I'll take one of those beers.
