China suspects Uighur separatists in incident..........

http://www.globalpost.com/dispatch/news/agencia-efe/131029/china-suspects-uighur-separatists-behind-incident-tiananmen

Beijing, Oct 29 (EFE).- Police were searching Tuesday for two men from China's remote Xinjiang region, home of the mainly Muslim Uighurs, in connection with an incident that left 5 people dead and 38 injured in Beijing's Tiananmen Square.
***********

Early reports were undecided whether the blame for this particularly barbaric attack, aimed as it was at innocent tourists and intended to produce maximum terror, should be assigned to the Tibetan terrorists loyal to the Dalai Lama, or to Muslim terrorists. China being a largely atheist country, there must be some special reason they (atheists) would not even make the suspect list. Would that reason be that atheists aren't trying to get to heaven by climbing a ladder of ignobly slain dead?

I admit I was tempted to post this over in Religion, but the blowback gets tiresome.
