Self-Professed ‘Bible Scholar’ Makes Explosive Allegation About Jesus That He Believes Could Rock the Christian Faith to Its Core

http://news.yahoo.com/self-professed-bible-scholar-makes-explosive-allegation-jesus-133026476.html

On Oct. 19, self-professed Biblical scholar Joseph Atwill is planning to make public some very flammable allegations. At a day-long symposium called "Covert Messiah" in London, England, he's set to unveil purported evidence that Roman aristocrats manufactured Jesus Christ - a claim that, if substantiated, would devalue the core of the Christian faith.

I know this is a "duh" moment for most of us but.....I think this wont be well received......

Reminds me of a conversation I had with a RWer who was singing the praises of a viral email supposedly written by Bill Cosby. After reading it, I was skeptical. Turns out he didn't write it. When I pointed that out, she refused to believe me. Even after showing her that Bill came forward to deny writing it, she stuck by it.

I think she said something like, "that doesn't matter, I still like it"

is that these emails keep coming out with no facts and a lot of huge distortions and lies, yet these people are not ashamed to have fallen for the scam.

I saw that email too, as well as so many others....and every time, I go straight to the fact check sites. And every time, they are inaccurate. Yet, the next one comes and they bite.

Who knows, this one might be the real deal. I would suggest that you give her your account numbers, then pray really really hard.
