for your tireless dedication to facts and reason in that thread. But at some point in discussing things with such a person, you have to satisfy yourself that you've done what's necessary to convince any sensible and rational people reading the exchange of what's going on, and leave it at that. The person in question will never budge from their entrenchment and will always want the last word, and galling as it is, sometimes you just have to let them have that empty little victory.
