Must have been having a bad day. The line about Richard's star sign was a joke (admittedly feeble).

7. As always, the pattern is the same...

A theist poses a question that has no simple objective or meaningful answer, and when none is provided the questioner crows, "I know, I know, God did it!"

T. We know the sky is blue because of sunlight and the atmosphere and all that, but why is it such a pretty blue?

A. Such a pretty... ? Wait. How do you know about sunlight and the atmosphere and all that?

T. The answer is god. God gave us this beautiful sky because he loves us.

A. Who taught you about the atmosphere and sunlight? Was that science?

T. Yes. And you make my point... science PROVES religion there! Now then, why are kittens so fun to cuddle?

A. What the..? I-I don't--

T. HAH! I do know! It's because god loves us!
