Atheism Plus? No, Crucifixion Plus!
This was posted on 8/29 by Paula Kirby, under the title "Crucifixion Plus (Restored)." It's all over the Internetz already, of course. Ophelia Benson posted it on her blog under the headline "Hilarity."
I thought about posting it in Religion. But that would just kick up another round of tsk-tsking, finger-waving, and general passive-aggressive horseshit about "atheism's sexist problem." Mostly by people who seem to know very little about this whole affair, other than "st00pid atheists, yuk-yuk-yuk." One of the lurking spies can re-post it if they want.
But what does it MEAN? Just Google "Crucifixion Plus" for some pretty interesting explanations of the symbolism. Also lulz.
