An important study at Missouri State University about male organ size was canceled last Thursday when response to the survey skewed results and took on the air of silly middle school antics.
Professor Alicia Walker discontinued the study saying, [link:https://news.missouristate.edu/2018/06/28/assistant-professor-discontinues-study/|I continue to believe the relationship between penis size and self-esteem is an important site of scientific inquiry, but the public reaction to the project threatens the reliability of the survey responses. The reliability of the study as a whole has been compromised.
The study was meant to find a correlation between penis size and self-esteem. The survey data included photographs of the participant measuring his genitalia to make sure the technique was followed correctly. The participants were also asked about their sexual relationships and habits.
Most of the respondents expressed being upset that a woman was doing this study. When Professor Walker asked respondents why they responded that way, she said, "I asked why my gender made a difference, and none of them could tell me. Knowing that these folks wouldn't have said anything had I been a male researcher was beyond frustrating."
All of the data were destroyed after the study's cancellation.

(219 posts)I think that most of the study's responses proves the point of the survey: Men really worry about it.
