But he's probably wrong on M Theory (AKA String Theory).

None of the predictions it makes have been substantiated by evidence, let alone by a experimental program. It seems to me like nothing more than mathematical
legerdemain.

All of the current progress in cutting edge physics is in quantum field theory, not strings.

But I still really like the guy. However, I suspect that he is not even wrong, as Wolfgang Pauli might say.
