(I have 20 month old twin boys).

I cannot imagine how terrified... how much pain she was in. So sad, so tragic.

Childbirth might be a natural process, but it is not a safe one, not even now, although it's safer than it was back in the Bronze Age.

"Unnatural" or not, it was the safest way for them to be born and have all three of us be OK. (Baby B was breech.. they offered to do a breech extraction, but it didn't sound pleasant for Baby B or I, so I decided to do the c-section instead).
