2. I went through it. I thought it was pretentious and hokey.

It was done by a professor at Oakland University. Somebody gave me her card. It was for smoking cessation. I met her at her office on campus. She had me sit in a recliner, put on some new age-y sounding music and distorted her voice. I kept thinking about how hokey it was and giggling. I couldn't relax or stop laughing all the way through it. So no, I don't think it worked.

Let me know when it works.

know is that if you think you can or you think you cannot be helped using hypnotherapy; you are correct.

There is no "it" when you come down to it there is only you and your therapist.

I prefer to use regression analysis and deal with the root causes of behavior but I am open to whatever method the client is open to. Methods can range from spirit possession, past live influence, or karmic debt to early childhood abuse. I do not look for any particular causality thus I do not limit any possible method of "cure".

Do you have any specific question or interest?

causes. I do find clues in the words people use that help in determining the underlying false belief that when exposes and robbed of their power quit inhibiting people.

Clear enough?

Hypnosis, as you know, was not always respected. How do you respond to skeptics ? I know most people think of "cluck like a chicken" BS when they think of hypnosis.

You also enter an altered state often when you do a repetitive task like driving, have you ever been on a long trip and not paid attention to several hundred miles?

(This is not to imply that you were not paying attention to your driving just that it can get to be an autonomous activity.)

The point is you (The theoretical client) came to me to help you with something do you want help "Clucking like a chicken"?

Of course not. What do you want to work on?

I think hypnotherapy is great. I think way too many people have misconceptions. Stage hypnosis has done it a grave disservice.

I had gone many miles with no recollection, very strange, thankfully I have not gotten into an accident and or lost which leaves me to believe that i was conscience of my intended route and yet failed to recall getting there, pretty strange.
