I have never posted in this group before, so I hope the regulars will pardon a newcomer, but I could think of no better place to share this video. I have long known that there were hundreds of nuclear weapons detonated in the Nevada Test Range, and was aware there were various observations made, but this video revealed testing parameters I was unaware of. The science involved is particularly fascinating. The title says "part 2" but I was unable to locate part one. Regardless, I found this very interesting, and if you find the technology behind the US nuclear weapon program at all a curiosity, you may agree.

(13,485 posts)To be protected from nuclear blasts, make sure you yard if clean and well kept, no toys of refuse... and be sure to keep your house painted well with white paint and that there is no dry rot. Cleanliness is next to godliness.
Oh.. Duck and cover also helps.
Now...... I am ready.
