The spread of and fear generated by the coronavirus has led extremists to promote conspiracy theories and share their anti-Semitic views, the Anti-Defamation League said.
It also has fomented racism against the Chinese and calls for a halt to immigration to the United States, the post to the ADLs website said.

Israel is a giant counterbalance to Russia's desire to either dominate or destabilize the ME --- Putin's goal being to push up the price of oil --- the only material export from Russia (excepting weapons, which also is helped by destabilization).

I do kind of have a conspiracy theory, thanks to my various doctor children, including one who was a military doctor.
They all say this reeks of an engineered virus because of its long incubation period AND its low mortality, both of which are key to spreading the disease.
Low mortality is actually more harmful to an economy because civilized cultures will take care of sick people who have hope -- and thus drain limited resources AND continue to spread the disease. If the disease was immediately deadly, it would burn out relatively quickly, as people would not go to serious lengths to try to save people.
They also adhere to the simple theory -- some unnamed lab geek dropped a vial somewhere in China -- China has a very authoritarian social structure that punishes mistakes much the same as intentionally bad acts. So, to save his or her career, said lab geek tried to clean up the mess -- and failed.
