(Jewish Group) Anti-Semitic graffiti at park is indicative of widespread hate, says Jewish Leader
(THIS IS THE JEWISH GROUP! RESPECT!!)
WEST ALLIS - Hate speech found spray painted on a Greenfield Park pavilion is part of a growing wave of white supremacist hate that is directed not only against Jews, but against all people who are considered to be "other," said a Jewish leader.
Elana Kahn, director of the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, denounced the graffiti, which was found scrawled on the buildings and doors of the pavilion around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at the park, 2028 S. 124th St.
Hate speech, including "
expletive) Jews," "death to all," "666," and sketches of vulgar and anarchist symbols, was spray painted in red across the Lannon-stone building, according to a news release from the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.
Jews were the only specific group named in the graffiti, said Fran McLaughlin, pubic information officer with the sheriff's office.
The graffiti had been removed as of Tuesday, July 31.
