Vandals hang anti-Jewish banner at Holocaust memorial in New Jersey

Vandals posted a banner containing an anti-Jewish slur on a Holocaust memorial in front of a New Jersey shore town synagogue where several residents were recently accused of misrepresenting their incomes to improperly obtain public welfare benefits.

Photos posted online Sunday by the state chapter of the Anti-Defamation League show the covering on the memorial in Lakewood. A message on the covering included an ethnic slur for Jewish people and stated they "will not divide us," along with the name of a group supposedly responsible for the covering.

State authorities announced Sunday they were offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to conviction of those responsible.

Growing up in Pittsburgh PA - not orthodox - and the shit they took at the beginning of the last century.

What these assholes did is lean over and lock their car door when they saw one of them walking down the street.

This isn't right - and I want Phil Murphy AND Peter Jacob (who had racist shit and signs on his house during last years election) to stand up NOW.

3. We've been discussing the Lakewood thing in several FB groups.

The members are overwhelmingly disgusted by the actions of the people arrested and the group is overwhelmingly Orthodox. Several members have experienced antisemitic harassment over the last couple of days.

If any other group were being harassed like this, there'd be 20 threads in the other forums screaming about it. But it's just us so...
