The horror of Paris

When we first heard about the attack on Charlie Hebdo I was going to ask, facetiously whether anyone was blaming Israel. By two or three or six degrees of separation. After all many of these Al Quaed and other terror group at some point blame Israel.

Now, after the horror at the Kosher market, I know that it is related. Why attack this place of all places?

One of the commentators said that France is home to the largest Muslim group in Europe and... the largest Jewish group.

In fact, it usually doesn't at all.

In this case, it might be that any Muslim related violent event becomes justification for some to express their deep seated antisemitism.

It only takes the drop of a pin for some bigots to be set off, and that sort of dynamic isn't limited to inter-faith battles; many will blame the blacks, or the gypsies, or the Turks, or immigrants for whatever problem is on the table, just by default.
