Workers began changing the locks on the doors of a Manhattan church Friday — even before the last Mass was said. And that outraged congregants at Our Lady of Peace who were already angry that their beloved sanctuary was being shuttered.
“It was horrific to watch. People were actually changing the locks while parishioners were trying to attend Mass,” said Julianne Bertagna. “It was classless.”
