WHY YOKO ONO IS A BETTER WITCH THAN STEVIE NICKS
?
I am as guilty as the rest of the witchy world for loving Stevie Nicks’ costumes, her crooning lyrics about the Goddess Rhiannon, and seeing her twirl with a shawl.
Just like everyone else that watched American Horror Story Coven I found myself poised in anticipation when she came on the screen for a few minutes; because she is the Pop Culture cover girl for what we have been told “witchy women” look like.
Yet, Stevie Nicks herself has clearly said “I am not a witch, I just like Halloween, and I thought Blondes looked skinnier in black”.
That got me over her. That was all it took, because Bad Witches don’t keep on liking people that don’t like them, it is unhealthy. What is it about us rejected witches that try to cling to a “pop icon” that clearly does not want to be one of us?
