“Angel” Spotted in South Florida Sky, Residents Say

Several South Florida residents witnessed what they described as an angel in the clouds, WPTV reported.

Various pictures were taken of what looks like a clear sky, with a noticeable pink cloud that resembles an angel.

It happened the day Pope Francis was announced and some Catholics saw it as a possible sign from God.

I have seen clouds that looked like the starship enterprise, like dragons, like all kinds of things. people have been seeing images in clouds for a very long time.

7. Growing up

Our bathroom walls were tiled with some sort of weird patterns that as a young boy, I would sit on the pot and make up stories concerning the pictures I saw in them. In grad school, I rented a trailer on a block of houses that was pretty much all owned by this one elderly lady. I helped a woman from El Salvador move into one. She was big into "signs" like this, and I, being a James Randi-esque skeptic, argued that the mind just makes things up. This was always a friendly arguing point between us with her jokingly telling me I had no imagination or soul. Then one day when I was over at her place, I noticed that her bathroom had the exact same walls from my childhood so I called her in there and told her to look at the walls and tell me what she saw. She didn't see anything. So I started pointing things out. "You mean you don't see an Arab in a turban with a feather in it arguing with a witch about his dopey looking horse while two more witches whisper in the background? What about the fat man winking at you? And there's another horse there, etc. What's the matter? Don't you have any imagination or soul?"

I really enjoyed seeing those walls again.
