father carved pentagram on son's back because 12.12.12 is an Old Testament Bible Holy day.

Told the 9.11 operator he shed innocent blood.

RICHLAND HILLS -- Police say a father used a box cutter to carve a pentagram into the back of his young son Wednesday, then dialed 911 and told a dispatcher, "I shed some innocent blood."

When the dispatcher asked him why he did it, the man said, "It's a holy day," according to Richland Hills police.

Investigators also believe the father took his son's blood and smeared it on the sides and the top of the home's door frame -- much like in the Passover described in the Old Testament of the Bible.

Apparently he has a history that would lead one to strongly suspect serious psychiatric illness.

But like so many, he probably had no or very limited access to services.

Our national shame.

the pentacle inverted is the symbol eastern star the women's auxillary of the freemasons. the upright star is the symbol of the five-fold kiss of wicca itself a relatively new religion started by, go figure, a freemason (gardnerian, anyway)

It's mentioned in some old occult texts. As for Gardner, I don't think he got it from the Freemasons. He likely got it from Alister Crowley who was a friend and mentor to Gardner. Crowley was a member of the Golden Dawn so that's probably where Crowley got it from.

But I did see an article from one of the Charismatics (flop on the floor like a fish, give me money for your prosperity), I forget which one, maybe Rick Joyner? - basically saying that 12/12/12 is a Holy day, a time of "completeness" based on his voodoo math, and was selling some kind of a prayer towel.
