RD is great, but Dr. Darrel Ray gets my kudos for his very last comment, "Religious people lie."
While he likely was only referring to sex, i think the statement is equally valid when applied to the whole enterprise. While religion may not rightly be the "root of all evil" (as the well-known RD video was called), the "root of all evil" in religion itself could be said to be their seeming lack of a fundamental understanding of truth/lying itself. No?
