Facing numerous charges including ethnic intimidation, terroristic threats and riot are 18-year-old Tyler Spencer, of Linden, Tenn.; 21-year-old Mark Trail, of Bethany; 18-year-old Cassandra Robertson, of Honesdale; and the unnamed juveniles.

as I have never heard of it and I am more confused now.

http://law.onecle.com/pennsylvania/crimes-and-offenses/00.027.010.000.html

§ 2710. Ethnic intimidation.
(a) Offense defined.--A person commits the offense of ethnic
intimidation if, with malicious intention toward the actual or
perceived race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry,
mental or physical disability, sexual orientation, gender or
gender identity of another individual or group of individuals,.....

According to this statue "mental or physical disability, sexual orientation, gender or gender identity" are ethnic classifications.

Does this make sense to anyone?

This is the language that was added to the existing "race, color, religion, or, national origin"

"actual or perceived . . . . ancestry, mental or physical disability, sexual orientation, gender or gender identity"

Your link shows, at the end of the statute, the history of its amendment.

That camp is located in the county next door to me.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court recently held it is not even necessary to prove bias was the "primary motive" for the crime.

These kids (yes, some were over 18, but they are still "kids&quot BECAME bigots because their parents taught them bigotry. Wanna place bets that the religion of the parents was the main factor supporting that bigotry?

Played a part in this.

Or even just a link showing what, if any religion, they might associate with.

Actually, I'm playing the odds. The most likely reason these kids terrorized this camp was because they grew up in bigoted households, where that bigotry was most likely rationalized by their religious beliefs.

Now, unless you have some sort of evidence that refutes that...

what is a out and out guess about the background of unknown people, based on your feelings about religion.

And to boot, you want evidence as well.

Some might consider your position prejudicial against religious folks.

And I really could not care less what you consider my position to be.

And it's a bit ripe, don't you think, that you make an out and out guess about your religion, and all other religions, based on your feelings about religion, then spew them out as if they are fact.

Yet can provide no evidence to support your guess.

Some might consider your position prejudicial against rational folks.

It says I guess about my own religion. I'm pretty clear on what I believe. And I don't guess as to what other people believe.

Care to illuminate me on how that can be and how that is relevant to Cheaphippies request for evidence.
