Why Can't Atheists Just Go Ahead and Believe?

I mean, wouldn't that be a lot easier? No more arguments about stuff. No more worry about religionists proselytizing their particular belief system. If atheists would just stop thinking and fall in line, things would be way, way better, don't you think? I mean, they could just accept what everyone else knows to be true and get on with their lives, right?

Atheists should just give up their silly non-belief and go along with what most people do. They wouldn't even have to change anything about how they act. They could just look around and see that it doesn't really matter how you act, as long as you say you believe. Just look at the current President. He says he believes, but pays no attention to any of the rest of that religion nonsense. Same thing with right-wing fundamentalists. They believe, but they feel free to be racists, bigots, misogynists and all sorts of other evil crap.

C'mon, you atheists. Just accept what everyone else believes. It's easy.

They just want us to shut up and stop pointing out the flaws in their beliefs, and the horrible behavior of their churches.

they could pat themselves on the back and think they were the reason for it. Why don't you want them to feel that satisfaction?

I know. They're so damned annoying, what with their refusal to believe something so simple-minded that anyone could believe it.
