Evangelicals sell their souls for Trump

Imagine if Obama had endorsed a candidate despite credible allegations that he sexually molested young girls ...

Robert Jeffress, a leading Trump supporter among evangelicals and senior pastor of First Baptist Dallas, ... said he doesn’t "care" if Trump is a religious phony but only that Trump has "embraced and enacted" policies favored by Jeffress ...

2. And yet there is still a silver lining to be found.

Let’s not forget that according to exit polls, 80 percent of white, born-again evangelical Christians supported Trump in the last election. Hillary Clinton only received 16 percent support. Voters from this demographic cast 26 percent of all votes for president in 2016.

Counting "white, born-again evangelical Christians" who voted FOR Hillary Clinton, she received more votes than any white man in presidential history!

EVERY VOTE COUNTS! EVERY VOTER COUNTS!

I know Jill Stein votes alone would have changed this election in those three Northern swing states.

I don't think we are talking to that 80% just yet.

But that 20% is an awful lot of people - who can turn an election!

It was third party voting that did us in (not counting stay-at-homers) - hardly 'evangelicals.'

Hillary had the demographics. Something changed at the very end (Comey and Russian propaganda).

I think the Stay-at-homers were the biggest problem of the three though.

They didn't suddenly change into this when he got elected. This is who they are. The only thing going on here that's new is that now, their incredible hypocrisy is making headlines more often.
