Wishing the Religion Room posters a Happy Easter!

20 years ago I officially because Episcopalian at the Easter Vigil, so this holiday has always been special to me. This year I couldn't go to any services and I can't go tomorrow because my mother is still in the hospital for heart bypass surgery but I still celebrate it in my heart.

I am very thankful for the good doctors, nurses, and all who helped my mom get through this. I am thankful she is in good condition and will be released soon.

Happy Easter to all and enjoy your families if you get to see them tomorrow!

Bach: Easter Oratorio at THE PROMS

Sir John Eliot Gardiner conductor - well known for his research into and perfoarances of "Early Music"

Monteverdi Choir
English Baroque Soloists - using mostly period instrument reproductions so the sound is much closer to what you might have heard in J.S.bach's time.

Anyway, happy belated Easter. And, I hope your mother gets better.

I know what it is like having a mother with serious health issues, and here is hoping she recovers quickly.
