3. At the end of the Salon article, there's this

But by Monday morning, (Donald Trump delegate Matthew) Jansen had posted a message on Twitter saying, “I do apologize for venting to the church. I was out of line.”

While I remain agnostic regarding the sincerity of Mr. Jansen's regretfulness, it's noteworthy that it's much more of an apology than the usual, "if anyone was offended..." non-apology.

The broader point raised by struggle4progress's post is that the behavior exhibited by Mr. Jansen is typical of most supporters of Mr. Trump and it's dangerous that the US has so many people who think and feel this way.
