If Pastafarianism is not recognised as an official religion in this country, why not?
It is, undoubtedly, a man-made idea - but so are all religions and it certainly makes far more sense than the hallucinatory gibberish of Scientology, which insists on claiming religious status even though it is not recognised as such in this country.
The wildly disproportionate bile directed towards the Pastafarian ideal also shows how successful the whole wheeze has proved to be.
