Is a religious institution that advocates against racial equality promoting bigotry?

By popular demand I've introduced the Troll! option to indicate that you are outraged at this question even being asked.

You finally got it right! Did you imagine someone here may think otherwise?

Now, ask yourself this question. Do you think these polls of yours have any significance or value?

Somehow the issue gets complicated, plusses and minuses have to be balanced, loyalty oaths are involved, bigotry might not be evident, exactly which rights are being denied is important.

For example here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=6820527

What are you confused about Warren?
The difference between a religious institution and an individual?
If your link had said "religious institution", then my vote would have been yes. But it didn't, so there you go. Another example of false equivalence.

i.e.: racial equality.. they move on to the next group, now we are at lgbt equality. Now that they are losing/lost that battle they will move on to some other group of people they don't like because of their book. I'm not accusing anyone here of that, but that's the trend with religious institutions.

Seriously? Are you saying that was confusing? Everyone else seems to be clear on the concept.

People have less trouble answering unequivocally when the question concerns racial equality than when it concerns lgbt equality, because of who the right answer points the finger at in each case.

Quite simple, really. And it's bigotry regardless of whether it's an individual or an organization fighting or advocating against equality.
