I'm always looking for recommendations. Fred Clark, Richard Beck, Rachel Held Evans, and Brian McLaren are excellent liberal/moderate Christian bloggers that I read regularly.

Hope he makes it all the way through the series.

A great group of interesting writers, imo, including non-believers.

Robert Price, the Bible Geek. Yup. He's a conservative Republican, but he's also an atheist and knows a lot about the Bible. He also puts on voice characterizations when he quotes the Bible. Old Testament is usually rendered as Charlton Heston, as is any words from god. Amazingly, Paul is rendered as Paul Lynd. And of course, Jesus is rendered as Willem Defoe (from Last Temptation of Christ).
What Price has taught me more than anything is tolerance. He is a rather unapologetic atheist, but has few complaints with believers.
He also has raised my level of education about the Bible. And of tolerance. The voice characterizations help, I think.
