Cafeteria Religion

I like to pick and choose the bits I like from different religions, as I can never settle on just one religion as they all have things that I like and things I can do without.

Are you the same?

If not, why?

If so, which religions do you find most value in?

Centered mostly in Native American spirituality, Affiliation is with Universal Unitarian, Grandma was a Buddhist from Oklahoma some transfer there. Living among LDS.

Sometimes people look at me strangely when I say that the world religions have much more commonality than difference and that there is great value in interfaith alliance.

2. I have found different things at different times, but they were personal and not religious.

Right now I am living in a culture that combines catholicism with some indigenous belief systems. The people have a way of living and approach to the world that is very positive and I am learning from that.

...Gods to figuratively "do battle with".

So, "Cafateria Atheist" seems like as good a label for my beliefs as anything.
