Southwest Airlines 50,000 points for signing up for their credit card ($69 annual fee)

The credit card costs you $69 in annual fees, but getting 50,000 pts in return is a smoking hot deal.

It costs $139 each way to go from DAL to LAX or 7,440 points. Round trip is $277 or 14,880 in points. So I can book 3 round trip flights which would cost me $831 for the 50,000 points you get for $69 (and still have 5,000pts left over). The best part is that Southwest points don't expire.

United and Delta, since most major airlines in USA partner with them. They used to be free for a yr, then would cancel them. They don't give as many miles these days, but they are still worthwhile.

1 for home, 1 for business. Charge something. Pay it off. Make sure miles credit. Cancel.

It may make my credit rating drop some but I don't really care about that. 2 free tickets, used for summer travel, planned 8 months ahead. WONDERFUL!
