Awful first half, but strangely entertaining second half. Why wasn't there much more time added on in the second half?

I thought the Bayern fans had told me Robben was past it?

That first goal was magnificent; what a monster run! The second was gifted thanks to piss-poor defending from Leighton Baines. As soon as Robben switched to his left foot you knew it was all over.

You'd think every defender on earth knows that you never allow Robben to go left! Of course there was deflection on the third goal as well.

FFS! He is out for the arsenal game- If RVP had torn up a knee in this match they would lose 4th end of- Now that Gerrard is out our chances of 4th that were slim already are even slimmer. The calendar has been a disaster for years other than managers refusing to let players go I don't know whats to be done.

...is that Gerrard was favored to become the new NT captain now that Terry stepped down. Instead, the new manager decides to humiliate him by picking Scott Parker instead, then keeps Stevie out in a meaningless friendly until he gets injured.

SG would have said that's it then I retire from Int competition. It would look petty but he can't play that much anymore and we need him badly. What do you think is a RW and a striker going to be enough in the summer? Enrique has been an upgrade but it looks like him and Downing have never played a game together. Overlap FFS! but I guess without Lucas the don't want to do it? I like Adam but his free kicks have been shit and once he is beaten he can't make up a yard because he has no pace. I would like to see a midfield three of Hendo central jay and Lucas so we can push gerrard up behind the strikers. I knew 4th would be a stretch so i am not surprised but QPR and Wigan that's why we bought british to beat those teams.
