First tracks!

1. I can't tell from the pic. What have you got?

2. Tracks from what appear to be 2 animals

in the snow, westerly direction from the house toward the river. (unless I read the footprints incorrectly!)

3. The tracks suggest the animals are shifting from one gait to another;

a symmetrical four- or two-paw stance, to a slopoy in-line track. Any evidence of pouncing behavior, like a fox?

4. No more evidence than we see in this pic.

I guess a fox could be involved. Have only been here since September, and surely haven't seen all the wildlife. Did see a raccoon recently.
